What’s New at Golden Hour Education Centre This Fall 🍂

As we head into a new school year, there are a few exciting updates happening at Golden Hour Education Centre!
Over the past year, we’ve had the opportunity to work with many wonderful students and families, and we’re very excited to continue growing our tutoring team and programs this fall.
A few new tutors have joined our team
This fall, we have welcomed a couple of new tutors to the GHEC team. As our number of students continues to grow, expanding our team allows us to offer more subjects, schedules, and tutoring options to families across Calgary.
We’re always looking for tutors who are knowledgeable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy helping students learn. Our goal is to make sure every student is matched with a tutor who is a good fit for their learning needs and personality.
An update about Pinidi
Some of our returning families may remember Pinidi, one of our tutors who worked with GHEC last year and had amazing results with her students.
Pinidi has recently moved to Edmonton to attend university. While she is no longer available for regular in-person sessions in Calgary, we’re happy to share that she can now accept new students in Edmonton, specifically in the university area.
We’re very excited to see where this next chapter takes her, and we’re happy that she can continue tutoring and supporting students through GHEC!
We’re hoping to open our first physical location
Another big goal for GHEC this year is opening our first physical education centre.
Since opening in 2025, we have primarily provided online tutoring and in-person sessions at public libraries and other suitable study spaces. We’re now working toward finding a permanent location where students can meet their tutors in a dedicated learning environment.
The exact location is still being confirmed, and we’ll be sharing more details once everything is finalized.
We’re currently looking for a space that would be a good fit for our students, tutors, and future programs. If you have suggestions for a potential location or know of a suitable space in Calgary, we’d love to hear from you!
Looking ahead
There are lots of things we’re excited about this fall — from welcoming new tutors and students to continuing to develop our programs and hopefully opening our first physical centre.
Thank you to all of the families and students who have supported Golden Hour Education Centre since we opened. We’re looking forward to another great school year and to continuing to grow together!
If you’re looking for tutoring support this school year, feel free to reach out to our team. We currently offer K–12 tutoring in subjects including math, English, science, and more, with both online and in-person options available.
